Eye TestsCostspex Opticians Durham is located on the Dragonville Industrial Park near Tesco Extra and Screwfix Durham. We are an independent, family-run business established for almost 20 years. We glaze most of our glasses on-site, enabling us to keep our prices affordable, without making concessions to design. Our prices start from as little as £25 for a complete pair of spring loaded glasses with single vision, hard coated lenses. We also offer designer glasses with a broad range of brands to choose from.
OUR OFFERS
Our current offers include the ever-popular ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ ranges and ‘Second Pair Discount’ ranges for those who like to have a spare pair of glasses on hand, just in case. That means: two pairs of single vision spectacles start from a mere £45, two pairs of bifocal spectacles from £95 and two pairs of varifocal spectacles from only £125.
TINTED LENSES AND MORE
We offer tinting on any pair of glasses purchased from us(Only £10 extra), making them prescription sunglasses ideal for a glaring winter morning or summer sun. We supply all types of lenses, from standard single vision all the way up to the latest types of varifocal technology.
EYE TESTS AND PRESCRIPTIONS
If your eye test is due, give us a call to arrange an appointment today. Alternatively, bring a copy of your current prescription if it’s in date to take advantage of our prices. We carry out NHS eye tests for those who qualify, and we also accept NHS vouchers. (Check the NHS criteria
